“Hi Everyone,
Due to a newly diagnosed heart related condition, and the advice of my doctors, it is with much sadness that I won’t be embarking on my annual pantomime season on stage.
Pantomime season is a grueling schedule of shows at anytime for any actor. I have handed my role as Jerry The Jester in our brand new production of Sleeping Beauty, to the brilliant actor, welsh icon and friend of mine Julian Lewis Jones, who I know will once again delight all audience members!
I will still have an active role in the production and delivery of this exciting Panto and you’ll probably see me around the theatre! I am still able to undertake my beloved radio shows and fulfill the less strenuous commitments. So I hope to see you all in person soon and thankyou for the already many well wishes!

I’m sure we will all join in wishing Owen a speedy recovery, and encourage him to take a well deserved rest. We all look forward to welcoming Julian Lewis Jones (Invictus (2009), and The Guest (2025)) to join the Rainbow Valley team for this years’ magical production.
