This is a Welsh Language Performance.

An original idea for BBC Radio Cymru.

Gwen, an anxious polar bear, wakes up on a broken icecap hundreds of miles away from her family. On her perilous journey through the arctic sea, she will have to find her courage, as well as her way home.

This is a fun, visual and thought-provoking performance in Welsh for young audiences and their families. Centred on themes of climate change, home and confidence, it encompasses puppetry, music and visual storytelling for a rich and exciting story of finding confidence in yourself.

Written by award-winning writer Chris Harris, with stunning design by Luned Gwawr Evans, and brought to life by actor Jemima Nicholas, this is a memorable performance for the whole family produced exclusively for Blackwood Miners’ Summer Festival.
