Blackwood Miners’ Institute Advisory Panel is seeking new members as we embark on a period of change.

About Blackwood Miners’ Institute
Blackwood Miners’ Institute is one of the most vibrant arts venues in South Wales. We create and present high quality professional and community arts for a diverse range of audiences and participants.
We want everyone to have access to arts and culture regardless of their circumstances and we work hard to create a balanced and affordable programme designed to inspire, educate, and entertain.
We host a variety of events and participatory activities spanning drama, dance, family shows, live music, comedy and entertainment, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
Blackwood Miners’ Institute is the only professional arts venue in Caerphilly County Borough. Caerphilly Council recognises the contribution that arts and culture make to the social, cultural and economic regeneration of the region and to the health and wellbeing of residents.
Blackwood Miners’ Institute is a community asset and is open for local community and amateur organisations to rehearse, host events or to stage productions.
We support and invest in professional artists and emerging companies, to support new ideas and the next generation of theatre makers.
